Post Discharge Extraction

MEP Fire - Post Discharge Extract Units

Venting the gas protected enclosure after the system has activated

Without a means of natural ventilation for an enclosure protected by a gaseous fire extinguishing system (such as open corridors and windows), an extraction system is required to safely remove  the extinguishant and any fire related by-products. It's also important to ensure that any material removed is completely dissipated and not transferred from one area to another.

A typical system would be include a motorised fan being installed into the enclosures perimeter which is ducted to a safe area or atmosphere and activated by a key switch usually located on the outside of the main entrance of the room adjacent the extinguishing fire panel. We can carry out full system design, calculations and installation.
